and share information and ideas. Opcode provides the server and the maintenance
of the list as a service to our users, but the mailing list is not an official

Opcode Overture Users Mailing List
The overture-users mailing list is similar to the opcode-users list, but is
specific to discussion of Overture, Opcode's professional music notation software.
The lists are also available in digest format, where you receive all of the
postings for each day in one mail at the end of that day. This is subscribed
and unsubscribed separately from the main lists, and it is possible to be subscsribed
to both at one time.

within the following boundaries:
Derivative artists generally considered outside the classical genre but whom
incorporate traditional classical components in a predominantly unconventional
manner. Instrumentation may either be accoustically or electronically generated,
but usually fused with another musical style.
Experimental artists generally considered within the classical genre but whom
work outside the boundaries of traditional classical structure. Instrumentation
is usually acoustically generated, but often by unconventional means.
Here are a few artists who would might be discussed on the list:

classical structure, both are discussed extensively on the Space-Music and Tangerine
Dream mailing lists. Orchestration of popular music (ie. Royal Philharmonic
