Don't Think - The Chemical Brothers

Live concert films have always been somewhat of an unsual concept for those who have never actually been to one.

The thought of sitting down eating popcorn watching everyone have fun on a huge screen can seem kind of, well, pointless.

Yet most of the live shows you've been to recently are pretty much exactly the same, the only difference is there's someone moving around on stage, and even that can seem like a figment of the imagination sometimes.

For example, one of my favourite live shows of all time consisted of two guys dressed up as robots in a pyramid playing with LEGO in front of thousands of people in Seattle. Everything else was light, people and of course very loud music.

Take away the robots (and the LEGO) and hey presto you're at the movies.

So now that you're beginning to realize it's actually not far off going to a live show why not check out 'Don't Think', the latest creation from The Chemical Brothers.

They filmed a big show in Fuki, Japan last year using twenty cameras, it's directed by Adam Smith, stars Tom Rowlands and Ed Simons and it will be loud.

It opens nationwide on Wednesday, February 1 at a theater near you. Be a part of the audience!
