Some sweet mixes for summer, and even the fall, can be found on this two cd set from London based Hed Kandi, Mark Doyle's three year old little corner of the entertainment industry.

Ananda Project's remix of Snooze's Doremifa Girl will ease you into the first CD, Beach House, which maintains the same pace throughout. Some highlights make their way through this dreamy sun-drenched soundtrack but references to specific tracks are elusive due to the nonsensical track listing on the promos we received. A good reference point would have been the Spritual Life - Ibadan mix of Beth Orton's Central Reservation, a particular favorite of mine, but it was left of my copy due to time contraints.

Another mix include a Pat Metheny theme which worked really well with today's taste in percussion sounds.

The second CD carries right on from where the first leaves off, with highlights including a vocal heavy version of Feel's Alright and DJ Chus's That Feeling.
