As someone who sat in the shadows watching people dancing themselves into delirium when Disco first reared it's multicolored hypnotic head in the 70's, I can tell you with all honestly this is the real thing. It has that Don't Stop Till You Get Enough quality that on the surface sounds so simple but is, in reality, very difficult to capture unless you know what really makes Disco tick.

The pulse in the case of Escort comes from a seventeen-member “disco orchestra”, founded by producers Eugene Cho and Dan Balis, and fronted by lead singer Adeline Michèle backed by a cast of musicians who have played with everyone from indie-rockers Arcade Fire to Alarm Will Sound, a 20-member band committed to innovative performances and recordings of today's music ranging from Aphex Twin to Edgard Varese.
