Laren d'Or - War Of Angels
A collection of tracks currently only available as mp3's winged it's way all the way from Hungary in the form of a CD specially compiled by Attila Héger, a musician who has worked on game soundtracks and more recently film soundtracks. As Laren d'Or, the name of his favorite fantasy hero, Attilla is putting out some seriously catchy music that is up there with the likes of Vangelis, Enigma and Tangerine Dream.
The compilation CD opens with five tracks described as Symphonia which, although artfully crafted, didn't get me too excited, but as soon as the Progressive tracks in this compilation kicked in I was imagining the possibilities. Sonically stimulating and with more than enough memorable themes to make a replay a few days later instantly recognizable we soon added several tracks to the playlist we have running over the hi-fi here all day at electronicmusic.com.
