Adam Dorn (A.K.A. Mocean Worker) has put together a great album here, full of the kind of music I'd listen to all the time if I Iived in one of those glass and wood single storey houses that sit on short stilts deep within north European forests.

I'm not sure if an extended stay in Paris helped this particular American put a particularily European edge into the music, and therefore into my head, but it certainly added something special that I bet he didn't have before he headed east.

Inherently rhythm driven, with a lite jazz feel throughout, Home Movies From The Rainforest is tempered with delectable percussive analog synth sounds that really compliment the sound of brushes and lightly tapped rides and toms.

Needless to say we'll be keeping an ear open for more from Adam Dorn.
