Sven Vath's 98 Ultra Records debut Fusion made me hungry for more, but not neccessarily more of the same. I appreciated the spaces and the momentum but hoped for more complexity. The creation of a construction that would withstand repeated visits while giving something different every time.

Contact, the first of the millenium from Vath, makes repeat visits compulsory. It's got the depth of vision and urgency that will have you coming back for more.

Propelled by much more than mere driving beats the majority of the work is unstoppable due to the infusion of a myriad of sonic components, each doing their little bit to make the pace little short of breathtaking.
